Bruunidun “Idun”
“Idun” for short – pronounced like “Eden”
Meet Bruunidun, affectionately known as "Idun" for short and pronounced as "Eden". This enchanting troll is nestled amidst the trees, serenading the surroundings with an enormous flute to beckon the native Orcas. Crafted from recycled and found materials by Danish environmental artist Thomas Dambo, Idun was assembled on-site with the assistance of a team of local volunteers as part of the Northwest Trolls Way Of The Bird King project.
Visitors often come bearing gifts from nature to present at Idun's feet. While strolling through Lincoln Park, keep an eye out for intriguing stones, shells, sticks, or leaves to collect and leave for her (and others) to appreciate. You can find Idun's whimsical abode right behind Colman Pool, awaiting your visit.
